A historic armory building in San Francisco has been purchased by a fetish film company because it contains so many ready made sets and backdrops.

Is this a case of "make love not war".  Not quite sure, since the "love" involved requires pain ... In any case, if this trend continues we might see another, very different "Battle for the Alamo". 

Paris Hilton's recently visited Bondi Beach. Hundreds of people just stood around and gawked at her openly while she sunbaked and showered. 

This would make any normal person feel like a freak, wouldn't it?  But not Paris.  She either likes it, or isn't bothered. 

Very strange.   

Still in Britain:  An exceptionally randy couple has gone all the way in the audience while actor Rob Lowe was acting his heart out on stage.

Lowe's performace must have been either incredibly thrilling ... or too boring for words.  I'm just not sure which!  

It seems that attempts to educate people about STDs are failing in Britain.  As this story reports the level ignorance about them is alarmingly high.

Here's an interesting site that seeks to unite "lonely bloggers".  I hope it thrives, but I don't know that it will. 

I can imagine bloggers being attracted to each other on the basis of their blog content.  However, knowing that if things "go south" they're both quite probably going to write about it in intimate detail might make them reluctant to get involved in the first place.

The Lancet is encouraging people to see the potential for fun in using a condom. 

Makes sense.  Condoms are like mini-balloons, really.  (Except it's fun to pop baloons.  The same cannot be said for condoms, of course -- particularly if you're wearing one at the time!)

I'm glad that there are lots of brazen, sex-crazed women out there.  I'd be gladder still if I could meet one!

Not as bizarre as it sounds, actually.  They are known to be among the more lecherous "otherkin". 

Here's an interesting result in a recent behavioural survey.  Aussies say they don't really care that much about their partner's looks; they just need to know that person loves them. 

It's heartwarming in a way.  But then, this need to be cared for (rather than to be the carer) does seem kind of selfish ...

Not surprisingly, having good sex was a priority.

I think it's an appropriate location -- being "down under" and all.

Here's an impending legal stoush that looks like it might have some major ramifications for Australian censorship law:

Online Aussie trader Adultshop.com has appealed an X-ruling on an erotic compilation tape, saying that even though it has actual schtupping in it, it's all pretty mild and not offensive to most adults. 

If they win this will make a whole lot of previously X-rated films merely R-rated, and subsequently change the content of the shelves at Aussie video stores quite a bit -- not to mention bring in a whole pile of new customers!

With this level of ongoing scrutiny of their marriage, it's no wonder that Kevin Federline and Britney Spears broke up.

Amazing that they lasted even two years, to be honest. 

What is it about celebrities and sex tapes?  It's as if a new one is leaked onto the internet every week. 

I'm starting to think that maybe they make them with the intention of having another income source for when their careers go south.  (Or, at least to keep themselves well and truly in the public eye for as long as possible.)   

For some reason reason vegans have a reputation as ascetic types who turn their noses up at most earthly pleasures.

Turns out that's a very unfair stereotype.  They're very much into the "sins of the flesh", as this site attests. 

San Francisco has hosted an amateur porn festival.  Many exhibitionists got jiggy wit' it in the name of self-expression, or creativity, or activism, or ... something.  (Maybe they were just really horny?)

Bizarrely the runner-up submitted his work because he felt there was a lack of erotica:

What about the internet?  Really, he should get in more. 

I've been scouring the web for other blogs that are a bit like this -- you know, naughty but nice.  But whenever I search for adult or sex related blogs, I just get an ocean of porn.

I think I'll change those terms to sexuality and relationships, and see how that goes.
